About this lanham gift
Lanham is a community in Prince George's County, Maryland, and the people who grew up there or put down roots nearby tend to carry that place with them. A Lanham shirt is how someone shows where they're from when they're at a reunion, a game, or just running errands somewhere new. Since many people in the area are commuters, transplants or families who moved in for schools and work, a Lanham design often means home more than it means a tourist spot. Add a second line for a street, a school or a graduation year, and it turns a city name into something personal. A mug on the kitchen counter is an easy daily reminder for the person who left and keeps talking about it. Kids get a lot of mileage out of a Lanham onesie or tee too, because it becomes the first hometown they can point to.
