About this mecosta gift
Mecosta is a small place, and that's the first thing to keep in mind. It's a township in Michigan's Mecosta County, a quiet rural area of farms, lakes and woods, and most people who carry the name grew up there or still have family nearby. A gift that says Mecosta will mostly be for someone with a strong connection to that one community, whether they live there year-round, went to school there, or left and keep coming back. Because the name is specific, the best approach is to keep the design simple and let the word do the work. A tee or hoodie is what they'll wear to the local gas station or on a lake weekend, and an 11 oz mug sits well in a kitchen where the local paper still gets read. If you grew up there too, a matching shirt is an easy way to say you're from the same place.
