About this middlegrove gift
Middlegrove is a small place name, and I don't know enough about it to describe its streets or history, so this gift works best on the person rather than the town. Someone who's from a small town often carries it with them: a shirt for the homecoming weekend, a hoodie for the first cold snap in a new city, or a mug for the kitchen where they still think of home. Small towns tend to be tight-knit, so a shirt that says where they're from can start conversations. To make it theirs, add the year they left, the year they moved back, or the neighborhood or street they grew up on in the second line. The Middlegrove name on a light or dark tee, a kids tee for a child born there, or a baby onesie for a new arrival can all carry that connection forward.
