About this minong gift
Minong is a small place, and that's the first thing to keep in mind. Most people who've lived there or left there carry it with them, whether they're still around or have moved on. A shirt with the town name is how someone wears a place that doesn't show up on most maps, and it reads as a personal choice rather than a souvenir. Because the name is small, the details your shopper adds matter a lot. A second line with a year they were there, a school class, a family name or a street tells the story only the two of you share. Hoodies suit people who are cold most of the year, mugs work for the kitchen counter, and kids tees let a family pass the name down. If you're not sure what the town means to the person, ask them what they'd put on the shirt themselves, then use their words in the second line.
