About this mobjack gift
Mobjack is a small place name, and the people who know it tend to know it well. The Mobjack Bay on the Virginia side of the Chesapeake has a loyal following among boaters, crabbers and anyone who grew up with the water close by, and a shirt with the name on it is a quick way to say where you're from. Because the word is less familiar than Boston or Richmond, it can start a conversation: someone spots the shirt and asks where that is, and the answer is part of the gift. For the person who left and misses the water, a mug with Mobjack on it is a daily reminder. Add a second line with a neighborhood, a year or a street name, and the design becomes a personal marker instead of just a place name.
