About this montesano gift
Montesano is a small town in Washington's Grays Harbor County, set along the Chehalis River, and the people who grew up there tend to hold on to it. A Montesano shirt is a way for them to claim the place, whether they still live there, moved to Seattle for work, or come back every summer for family. Small towns make good gifts because the people who love them are proud of how specific they are. Put the town name front and center and add a second line for a graduation year, a street, or the high school class they belonged to. A mug works well for the parent who still lives there and wants a little pride on the kitchen counter. For someone who left, a hoodie is the warm reminder of the place they miss when the weather turns. The name matters more than any design trick, so type it exactly the way the locals spell it.
