About this mound bayou gift
Mound Bayou is a small town in the Mississippi Delta, and most people who grew up there carry it with them wherever they go. A shirt with the town name is how a former resident claims it at a homecoming, a family reunion or a state fair booth far from the Delta. Because the town is small, a Mound Bayou design tends to be personal in a way a big-city shirt isn't: the person wearing it is usually the one who knows exactly which street they mean. If you're buying for someone who left, a mug on their desk or a hoodie for the cold months can keep the hometown close. For someone who never left, the same shirt makes an easy gift that says you know where they're from.
