About this mount clemens gift
Mount Clemens is a small city in Macomb County, Michigan, on the Clinton River, and people who grew up there tend to hold onto it. A shirt with the city name is how they claim it at a reunion, at a Michigan game, or on a trip far from home where someone asks where they're from. Because it's a smaller place, a Mount Clemens design can mean more than a generic city tee: it's the high school hallway, the riverfront, the house they came home to after college. Add a second line with their graduation year, their neighborhood or street, or the name of the school they went to, and the shirt becomes specific to them. For someone who moved away, a mug with the city name is a daily reminder of where they started, and a hoodie works well for cold Michigan winters, which is when homesickness usually hits hardest.
