About this natchitoches gift
Natchitoches is a small town in northwest Louisiana, and the people who grew up there tend to carry it with them. It's one of the oldest towns in the state, known for its historic district, its riverfront and the meat pies that show up at every local event. A shirt that says Natchitoches is how a former resident wears their hometown, whether they're in Baton Rouge, Houston or a new job across the country. It's also a name people have to explain, and that makes it a good conversation starter on a shirt. For someone who's come back to visit family, a hoodie or mug with the town on it is a warm reminder of where they're from. Add a second line with a school, a year or a street name from their childhood and the gift starts to feel like it was made for them.
