About this new cuyama gift
New Cuyama is a small unincorporated community in northwestern Santa Barbara County, California, out in the high desert along the Cuyama Valley. Life there runs on wide open skies, long drives to get anywhere, and a tight-knit community where people know each other by name. A shirt or mug with New Cuyama on it is a way for someone who grew up there, or who is proud to call it home, to carry that place with them. Since the town is small and not widely known, a gift like this often means more than a generic souvenir. Adding a year, a school class, or a family name on a second line makes it personal. It's the kind of gift that gets worn on trips back, at reunions, or just around town where everyone will ask about it.
