About this new franken gift
New Franken is a small village in Wisconsin, and most people who grew up there or moved away carry that name with them as a point of pride. A shirt with New Franken on it is a way to say where you're from without a long explanation, whether that's at a family reunion, a college dorm or a job in a city where nobody has heard of the place. It's also a gift for the person who left and still talks about home, or the one who stayed and knows every street. Put the year they graduated, the year they moved, or the name of their street on the second line, and it becomes a memory rather than a souvenir. Hoodies suit the cold Wisconsin winters the village knows well, and mugs are a good fit for the kitchen table where the hometown talk always starts.
