About this north adams gift
North Adams is a small city in the Berkshires of western Massachusetts, the kind of place people leave for school and then keep coming back to, whether that's for family, a long weekend in the hills or the mountain air. A North Adams shirt is a way to say where you're from without a long explanation, and it lands well with someone who grew up there and now lives somewhere much bigger. It also works for the person who moved to the Berkshires and fell for the town's slower pace. Add a neighborhood, a street, a school or a year underneath and it stops being a generic souvenir and becomes their own. For the one who misses home, a mug with the city name is a daily reminder of where they started.
