About this north liberty gift
North Liberty is a small city in Johnson County, Iowa, a short drive north of Iowa City, and the people who live there tend to be proud of how close they are to the university town without being in it. A North Liberty shirt is how a resident says where they're from: at a football tailgate, at the county fair, or just on a Saturday errand around town. It also works for the family who moved in a few years ago and still gets asked where that is. For someone who grew up there and left for school or work, a mug or hoodie with the city name is a warm reminder of home. Adding a second line for a street, a school or a year they moved in makes the gift specific to their story rather than just a souvenir.
