About this oakesdale gift
Oakesdale is a small town in Whitman County in eastern Washington, and the people who call it home tend to be proud of exactly that: a place where everybody knows the name on the grain elevator and the high school team is the main event on Friday night. A shirt with Oakesdale on it is how someone wears that pride, whether they still live there, left for college in Spokane, or moved across the country and miss the wheat fields. Because it's a small town, a gift that names the town feels personal in a way a generic souvenir never does. Add a second line with the year they graduated, their street, or a family name, and the design becomes theirs. For the one who moved away, an Oakesdale mug on a kitchen counter in another state is a quiet reminder of where they started.
