About this oelwein gift
Oelwein is a small city in Fayette County in northeast Iowa, and the people who grew up there tend to stay attached to it, even after they move away. A shirt with the town name is how they claim it, whether they're back for a high school reunion, a county fair weekend, or just a visit home for the holidays. For someone who's left, a mug on the kitchen counter in a city with a different skyline is a small daily reminder of where they're from. A hoodie works well for the cold Iowa winters they'll remember, and kids' designs let parents start a local tradition early. To make it theirs, add a second line with a graduation year, their street or neighborhood nickname, or the class they belong to. That detail is what turns a town name into their story.
