About this orick gift
Orick is a small town in Humboldt County, California, on the Redwood Coast, and that's where most people who wear an Orick shirt are from or have passed through. Life there is tied to the forests, the fog and the long drives to the bigger towns for groceries and work. A shirt with the town name is a way to claim a place that doesn't show up on many souvenir racks. It suits someone who grew up there and left, someone who still lives there, or a traveler who stopped on the highway and fell for the redwoods. Put the year they moved, the year they were born, or a street or neighborhood on the second line and it becomes theirs. For a hoodie, pick a cool-weather day when the fog rolls in and they'll actually reach for it. A mug is the easy everyday version.
