About this oriskany falls gift
Oriskany Falls is a small village in Oneida County, in the central part of New York State, and the people who call it home tend to mean it. A shirt with the village name is how someone wears a hometown that doesn't show up on most maps, whether they still live there, came back for the summer, or left decades ago and keep a bit of it on their dresser. Small places like this are often tied to family, the high school, the church supper and the people who knew everyone's business. A tee or hoodie with the village name sparks that recognition in a way a generic souvenir never does. For someone who moved away, a mug with Oriskany Falls on it is a daily reminder of where they started. You can add a year, a family name or a graduating class underneath, so the shirt says something specific about the person wearing it.
