About this overland park gift
Overland Park is a Kansas City suburb with a lot of families, long commutes to the Plaza or downtown, and plenty of people who grew up in one of its neighborhoods and came back. Someone who's lived there a while knows the big shopping districts, the parks along the trails and the way the Johnson County traffic backs up. A shirt with the city name is an easy way to say where they're from, and it works for the kid who's just starting out and the grandparent who's been there since the subdivisions went up. The second line is where it becomes personal. Add a graduation year, a school, a street or a neighborhood nickname, and the shirt stops being a souvenir and starts being their story. For someone who moved away, a mug or hoodie with Overland Park on it is a quick way to say you remember where they're from. You can check the spacing in the preview before you order.
