About this port allen gift
Port Allen is a small town on the west bank of the Mississippi, and people from there tend to hold on to it hard. Someone who grew up in Port Allen may now live in Baton Rouge, Houston or further away, and a shirt with the town name is a quick way to say where they're from. It suits a homecoming visit, a family reunion, or the daily walk to work for someone who misses the place. Because it's a small town, the people who know it will notice a Port Allen design right away, which makes it a gift with a bit of local pride built in. Add a second line with a graduation year, a street, or a family name and the shirt becomes specifically theirs. For the one who moved away, a Port Allen mug on the desk is a small daily reminder of home.
