About this prunedale gift
Prunedale is an unincorporated community in Monterey County, sitting between Salinas and the Monterey Peninsula along the Highway 101 corridor. People who grew up there tend to be proud of the small-town feel that stayed put even as the area around it grew, and a lot of them carry that identity wherever they move. A Prunedale shirt is a quick way to say where you're from without a long explanation. For someone who left and misses it, a mug with the name is a daily reminder of home. For a teenager heading off to college, a hoodie does the same job with a bit more swagger. Since the name is a local one, you can also add a second line with a street, a school, a graduating class or a year to make it theirs. Many designs come in kids and baby sizes too, so a whole family can wear the same hometown name.
