About this readstown gift
Readstown is a small village in Vernon County, Wisconsin, in the Driftless hills of the state's southwest corner. A gift for someone from Readstown usually goes to a person who's proud of a place most people have never heard of, and who gets asked where that is every time they say it. A shirt or mug with the village name is a conversation starter they'll wear to a county fair, a family reunion or a college campus far from home. Because the name is small and specific, it reads as a real connection rather than a generic souvenir. If you're buying for a graduate heading out of town, a hoodie with Readstown on it says where they're from better than any explanation could. For someone who still lives there, the same design says the village is worth representing. You can add a year or a second line underneath, like the year they left or the year the family moved in, to make it theirs.
