About this ripon gift
Ripon is a small city in Wisconsin's Fox Valley, and people who grew up there tend to carry it with them. A Ripon shirt is how a former resident waves the flag at a reunion, a homecoming game, or a visit back to see family. It's also a strong pick for someone who's moved away and misses the small-town feel, the kind of place where everybody seems to know where you're from. Because Ripon is a modest-sized place, the shirt works best as a personal reminder rather than a sightseeing souvenir. Add a year they graduated or a second line with the street or neighborhood they lived on, and it becomes theirs. For the homesick transplant, an 11 oz mug on the kitchen counter does a lot of quiet work every morning.
