About this river grove gift
River Grove is a village on the Chicago side of the Des Plaines River, and a lot of the people who live there are proud of how close it feels, even in a big metro area. Residents who grew up there tend to come back for family, and those who moved away carry the name with them for years. A shirt or mug with River Grove on it works for the local who's already proud of the village, the former resident missing the neighborhood, and the newcomer who just bought a house and wants to belong. Since this is a small place, a second line with a street, a year, or a school mascot can make it personal. A hoodie is a good pick for a winter gift, and a baby onesie fits a family welcoming their first child in town.
