About this san anselmo gift
San Anselmo is a small town in Marin County, tucked into the hills north of San Francisco, with a historic downtown and a creek running through it. People who grew up there or moved there tend to carry the place with them: a Friday afternoon on the main street, the trail up into the hills, the sense of living somewhere a little apart from the city. A shirt that says San Anselmo is a quiet way to claim that. For someone who's left town, it's a reminder of home that doesn't need explaining. For a local who's proud of their hometown, a hoodie for the cool Marin mornings or a mug for the first coffee of the day gets used constantly. Adding a second line with a street, a school class year or a neighborhood name makes it theirs, and a kids tee or onesie can start a family tradition before the baby can even read the name.
