About this seattle gift
Seattle people tend to be proud of the rain, the coffee, the ferries and the mountains you can see on a clear day, which is not often. A Seattle shirt is how they claim the city: for game day, for a trip back home, or for the morning commute on a gray Tuesday. The city is a patchwork of neighborhoods, from Ballard and Capitol Hill to West Seattle and the University District, so a shirt that says Seattle and then names their own neighborhood means more than a souvenir-shop tee. It's also a place people leave for school or work and miss every day after, which makes a Seattle hoodie a warm graduation or going-away gift. For someone who moved away and still orders their coffee the Seattle way, a mug is a small daily reminder of where they're from.
