About this selawik gift
Selawik is a small city in Northwest Alaska, on the Selawik River, and the people who live there have a close relationship with the land, the river and the seasons. A Selawik shirt is a way for someone to carry that place with them, whether they're a longtime resident, a former student, or someone who worked there for a season and never forgot it. Think about the moments that tie a person to a place like this: the river in summer, the long winter, the friends and family they left behind. A simple tee or hoodie with the city name is a good start, and a second line can add a year they lived there or a nickname from home. For a relative who moved away, a mug with Selawik on it is the daily reminder of where they're from. The designs come in adult, kids and baby sizes, so one gift can cover the whole household.
