About this sewaren gift
Sewaren is a small waterfront neighborhood in Woodbridge Township, New Jersey, along the Arthur Kill, and most people who live there will tell you it's a place you chose on purpose. Residents tend to be proud of the quiet streets, the view across the water and the feeling of knowing your neighbors. A Sewaren shirt is how someone shows that pride at a block party, on a walk to the bay, or at a reunion with friends who grew up nearby and moved away. Because the town is small, a shirt with the name on it will get a question or a nod from another local, which is part of the appeal. For someone who has moved away, a Sewaren mug on the kitchen counter is a daily reminder of home. Adding a street name, a year or a family name to the second line makes the gift feel like it belongs to them.
