About this sikes gift
Sikes is a surname, and as far as I know there's no city called Sikes, so I'm treating this as a last name for a family member. Whoever carries it probably gets asked about the spelling and hears the same jokes about being a sign. A shirt with Sikes on it is a small, friendly way to say the name is theirs and proud of it. Family gatherings and reunions are where a name tee gets worn most, since everyone starts to look alike in a group photo. A hoodie suits cooler weather and a mug suits the morning coffee routine. If you're buying for someone who's moved, a Sikes piece with a second line for the hometown or the year the family started there gives them a little of home wherever they are.
