About this snover gift
Snover is a small place, and the people from there tend to be proud of it in a quiet way. A shirt or mug with the name is the kind of thing that starts a conversation with someone who's heard of it, and gets a laugh from someone who hasn't. For someone who grew up there and moved away, a Snover piece is a way to carry home with them into a new city. For someone who still lives there, it's a bit of local identity they can wear to the store or the game without explaining themselves. Since the name is less familiar than a big city, the detail that makes the gift land is personal: a street, a year they were born, a school or a family name on the second line. Those are the lines that turn a town name into their town.
