About this somerville gift
Somerville is the kind of place people love loudly and argue about constantly: the squares, the crowded bars near Davis, the rowhouses tucked behind busy streets, and a neighborhood identity that's strong enough to make people feel like they're from somewhere specific even when they're just a few stops from Boston. A Somerville shirt is how a resident says where they live without a speech. It's a fitting gift for someone who has lived there a while, for a grad student or new renter who just moved in, or for a former resident who misses the place. Add a neighborhood, a street, or the year they moved in to the second line and it stops being generic city merch and starts being theirs. A Somerville mug is a quiet daily reminder, and a hoodie is the practical choice for the long walk home in a New England winter.
