About this speculator gift
Speculator is a city in the Adirondack foothills of upstate New York, and it's a place people know more from the map than from a visit. The name sounds like a joke, which means anyone who lives there has heard every version of it. A Speculator shirt works as a conversation piece for a long drive home, a summer camp reunion, or a visit to the Adirondacks, where the mountains and lakes are the real draw. Hoodies suit the cold months, when the town is quiet and the woods are at their best. A mug is the easy choice for someone who likes to start the morning somewhere they're proud of. The best way to make the gift theirs is to add a second line: a street, a lake, a year they moved, or the name of the camp they went to.
