About this steinauer gift
Steinauer is a small name, and the place it points to is small too, so the people who carry it tend to be proud of where they come from and a little amused that most of the country has never heard of it. A Steinauer shirt is how they say so without having to explain. It works for a homecoming trip, a family reunion held in town, or just the daily reminder that the town still counts as home after years away. Because the word is specific, a shirt with it reads as a real piece of their life rather than a generic souvenir. Many designs have a second line, so you can add a year, a street, or a family name underneath. For someone who left and keeps coming back, a Steinauer mug on the kitchen counter says the same thing every morning. For a kid who's growing up there, a kids tee or onesie starts the habit early.
