About this sturgeon gift
Sturgeon is a surname and a fish, and on this page it's the word on the shirt, so the person it describes is most likely someone with the Sturgeon name. Surnames don't come with a story the way a hometown does, so the gift lands when it's about the people carrying the name. A family reunion, a wedding party, a new baby who inherits the name, or a grandparent who's proud of it all make natural occasions. Put a first name or a year on the second line and the shirt becomes theirs instead of generic family merch. Sturgeon shirts and hoodies work well for a group trip or reunion where everyone should be easy to spot, and a mug suits the kitchen where the family gathers. If you're organizing for several people, the Team Shop lets you order one design with each person's first name on their own shirt.
