About this subiaco gift
Subiaco is a suburb of Perth, Western Australia, and the people who live there tend to be proud of its village feel, with its shops along the main strip and its easy walk to the train. A Subiaco shirt is a way for someone to claim that place, whether they grew up there or just spent years commuting through it. Because the name is specific and not widely known, the design does a lot of the talking: people who recognize it will want to ask about it. For someone who has moved away, a mug with the suburb on it is a small daily link back to home. For a local, a hoodie is the everyday choice for cooler evenings. You can add a second line for a street, a year they moved in, or the name of the school or club they belong to, which makes the shirt theirs rather than generic.
