About this swea city gift
Swea City is a small town in Iowa, and the people who grew up there tend to carry it with them. A shirt that says Swea City is how a former classmate wears the hometown to a reunion, a college campus or a city where nobody else has heard of it. Small towns run on pride in the local high school, the grain elevator and the Friday night that everyone attends, so a shirt with the town name is often the thing that starts a conversation. For someone who has moved away, a mug with the town on it is a daily reminder of where they're from. For someone still living there, a hoodie for the chilly sidelines is the easiest way to show they belong. Add a second line with a class year or a family name and the gift becomes personal rather than generic.
