About this swiss gift
Swiss is a word that covers a few different things, so the first thing to settle is who this gift is for. Someone who grew up in Switzerland, or who has family there, will read a Swiss shirt as a little piece of home. Someone who's just fond of Alpine landscapes or good chocolate will read it as a love of the country itself. Either way, the shirt says something about where they come from or where they'd rather be. Swiss designs fit well with mountain-and-lake imagery, and a second line can carry a city or canton, a family name, or a year they moved or visited. For a traveler, a mug or hoodie with Swiss on it is a souvenir that actually gets used. For a new parent with Swiss roots, a baby onesie is a gentle way to start the family story.
All swiss gifts →- A tee with their hometownPut the city or canton on the second line, such as Zurich, Geneva or Bern, so the shirt means something specific to them.
- A mug for the coffee breakAn 11oz mug with Swiss on it is a daily reminder of home for someone who's far from it.
- A hoodie for the mountain tripSomething warm for a winter visit or a ski weekend, with the year of the trip added on the second line.
- A onesie for a Swiss-rooted babyA small way to mark a family connection from the very first outfit.
