About this tiskilwa gift
Tiskilwa is a small village in Bureau County, Illinois, and the people who grew up there tend to carry it with them wherever they go. A shirt with the town name is how a former resident shows they still claim it, whether that's at a class reunion, a visit home for the holidays, or a Saturday at the kitchen table in a city two states away. Small-town gifts land best when they feel specific to the person, so consider adding a graduation year, a school class, or the street they grew up on in the second line. A hoodie suits the cold Illinois winters they probably remember, and a mug suits the coffee routine of someone who misses home. For a relative who moved away, a kids or baby design lets you pass the town name down to the next generation, which often means more to the grandparents than anything bought at a gift shop.
All tiskilwa gifts →- A tee with their graduation yearPut Tiskilwa on the front and the year they left for school or graduated on the second line, for a reunion or a homecoming weekend.
- A hoodie for the homesickA hoodie with the town name is practical for anyone who remembers real Illinois winters and misses them.
- A mug for the one who moved awayAn 11oz mug on the kitchen counter is a daily reminder of home for someone living far from Tiskilwa.
- A baby onesie for a new family memberIf a relative has a new baby, a Tiskilwa onesie gives the little one a connection to the town before they ever visit.
