About this tolar gift
Tolar is a small place, and that's the first thing to keep in mind. Most people who share the name Tolar, or who come from a Tolar, have a strong sense of where they're from and won't mind a bit of ribbing about it. A shirt with the town name is an easy way to show that pride, whether the person still lives nearby or has moved away and misses it. Because the word is uncommon, you can make the gift more personal by adding a second line: a year they were born, a high school class, a family name or the street they grew up on. Those details turn a town shirt into something only they would wear. A hoodie suits a cold-weather place, and a mug works well for a kitchen table where the day starts.
