About this waite park gift
Waite Park is a small city in Stearns County, Minnesota, just across the river from St. Cloud, and the people who live there tend to be proud of a town that's big enough to have everything and small enough to know the neighbors. A shirt with Waite Park on it is how a longtime resident shows where they're from, and how a transplant announces they've settled in. It works for the person who grew up there and came back, the grandparent who still drives through town for the Dairy Queen, or the new neighbor who wants to feel like they belong. Add a second line for the street, the year they moved in, or the school they went to, and the design starts to belong to one person instead of a map. Hoodies suit the Minnesota winter, and mugs suit the kitchen table where most local news gets discussed.
