About this wamic gift
Wamic is a small place, and that's exactly why people who come from there hold on to it. A Wamic shirt is the kind of thing a former resident buys when they're home for a visit, or what a relative sends across the country to someone who grew up there and still calls it home. Small towns don't usually have a shop full of souvenirs, so a shirt with the town name on it does real work: it starts the conversation about where someone is from. The recipient might be the one who left years ago, the one who never left, or the one who moved back. A gift that says Wamic on it lands with all of them. You can add a second line with a year, a graduating class or a family name to make it theirs. A mug works well for the kitchen table, where most small-town memories get told.
