About this west dennis gift
West Dennis is a small village on Cape Cod, in the Dennis part of town along the bay side, and it's the kind of place people tend to say they're from with a little pride even when they've moved away. A West Dennis shirt fits the summer crowd who come back every year, the year-rounders who know the back roads, and anyone whose family has a cottage that's been in the same name for decades. Cape towns have a strong sense of who belongs and who's visiting, so a shirt that names the village is a way of saying you know where someone's from. Add the year they first came out, the street, or the name of the beach they walk to every morning, and it stops being a souvenir and starts being theirs. For the person who's left and misses the salt air, a mug or a hoodie with the village name is a daily reminder of home.
