About this white lake gift
White Lake is a small place, and the people who grew up there tend to hold onto it. Whether someone has lived there their whole life or left for a job in a bigger city, a shirt with the town name is a quick way to say where they're from. Lakes and summers go hand in hand in a lot of small towns, so a tee for the beach, a hoodie for the bonfire, or a mug for the porch in the morning all fit the life many people there know. If you're shopping for someone who moved away, a White Lake mug is an easy reminder of home. I don't know much about the town's specific history or local landmarks, so the best way to make the gift theirs is to add something only you two would know: a street, a school class, the year they moved, or the name of the lake house they all went to.
