About this manager appointment gift
A manager appointment is a real milestone, and the person who just got it has probably spent a long stretch doing the work before anyone made it official. They're the one who takes the call when the schedule falls apart, who answers for the team upstairs and keeps people on the floor feeling heard. A gift that marks the new title tends to land best when it feels like theirs. A dark tee or hoodie is good for the first weeks of longer days and early meetings, and a mug with the title on it is the one they'll reach for before the first call of the morning. Put their name on it, or the team or department they now lead, and it stops being a generic office gift. Use the second line for the year they got the promotion, which is the detail they'll remember later.
