About this meter reader gift
Meter readers spend their days walking routes in every kind of weather, checking gauges on side yards, around back fences and along alleys most people never see. The job takes early starts, a lot of steps and a good eye for anything that looks off, and it's rarely thanked. A gift that says meter reader on it tells them someone noticed the work. A tee or a hoodie suits the long days outside, and a mug fits the coffee they drink before the first route of the morning. Add the utility company they work for if you know it, or their route number or years on the job in the second line, and the shirt becomes theirs rather than a generic job shirt. If you're buying for a whole crew, the Team Shop lets you put one design on every shirt with each person's name, which is a nicer thank-you than another round of donuts.
