About this maurice gift
A gift for a Maurice usually has to work for the whole range of Maurices, because the name turns up across every generation. There's the granddad who's been Maurice to everyone for seventy years, the dad who goes by Mo, and the kid who got the name from a great-grandfather and is tired of spelling it out. That's the useful part: a shirt or mug with the name printed big is a small act of recognition, and people who rarely see their own name on anything tend to love it. Type it exactly the way they like it, Maurice or Mo or Reese, and use the second line for something that fits, like a birth year, a nickname, or a role such as Papa or Coach. Maurice is also a city name in Louisiana, so if that's home, you can pair the two. The same design comes in kids sizes and baby onesies for a family that names its children after each other.
All maurice gifts →- A tee with the nickname underneathPut Maurice on the main line and Mo, Papa or Coach on the second. It's the detail that tells him you know how people actually say it.
- A name mug for the morning coffeeAn 11 oz mug with Maurice printed on it is an easy pick for a dad, uncle or grandfather who already owns too many shirts.
- A hoodie with his birth yearAdd the year he was born, or the year he retired, to a hoodie he can pull on for early walks and cool evenings.
- A matching set for a namesakeIf a baby or kid shares the name with a grandfather or great-uncle, a kids tee or onesie for the little one and a tee for the elder make a good photo.
