About this patrick gift
Patrick is one of those names that carries a lot of freight. Some Patricks go by Pat, Paddy, Patty or Rick, and some answer to nothing but the full thing. There's a St. Patrick's Day connection every March, which makes a Patrick shirt a natural for the guy who gets teased about it every year anyway. But a name tee works the rest of the year too: a birthday, a new job, a first day of school, or a baby named after a grandfather. If you're shopping for a kid, a kids tee or a baby onesie with the name printed big is the kind of thing that gets worn until it's outgrown. For the adult Patrick, a hoodie or a mug with his name on it is a small, personal gift that doesn't need a reason. Type the name the way he's actually called, nickname included, and add a second line like a year, a nickname or a team if the design has one.

- A baby onesie for a new PatrickIf the baby's named after a grandfather or uncle, a onesie with the name on it makes a good coming-home outfit and a keepsake photo.
- A mug for his deskAn 11 oz mug with Patrick on it keeps his coffee his, and it works for an office where mugs wander.
