About this ec teacher assistant gift
An early childhood teacher assistant spends the day on the floor with three- and four-year-olds, reading the same picture book for the tenth time, wiping hands, tying shoes and keeping one eye on the snack table. The gifts they keep are the ones that acknowledge that work, something soft enough for a long day and personal enough that nobody mistakes it for a generic school shirt. Put their name on it, and add the classroom or the school year if you know it, so it becomes theirs. A mug is handy for a morning coffee between circle time and nap, and a hoodie covers the chilly classroom and the drive home. Many teacher assistants are juggling a second job or a degree, so a piece they can wear anywhere and use every day tends to land well. If you're buying for a whole staff team, the Team Shop lets you order one design with each person's name on their own shirt.
