Headstart Teacher Book Stack dark tee

About this headstart teacher gift

Head Start teachers work with three- to five-year-olds in classrooms that often run on tight budgets, so the gifts they keep tend to be the practical ones that also show someone noticed the work. A soft tee for the drive to a home visit, a hoodie for the chilly classroom during circle time, or a mug that's clearly theirs so it doesn't end up in the staff lounge pile. Head Start programs are federally funded early childhood programs, and many teachers hold a state credential or an associate or bachelor's degree in early childhood education, but titles and requirements vary by program. If you know their credential, you can add it on a second line. A name or the classroom name works too. Put Head Start Teacher on the front and their first name or room color underneath, and it reads as their everyday identity rather than a generic job shirt. Teacher Appreciation Week falls in early May, which is a natural time to order.
