About this bound brook gift
Bound Brook is a small borough in Somerset County, New Jersey, on the Raritan River, and people who grew up there tend to hold onto the place. A shirt with the town name is how they show it, at a reunion, a high school homecoming, or just around town where everyone seems to know each other. Many people from small towns have moved to bigger cities and still call their hometown first when asked where they're from. A hoodie with Bound Brook is a good fit for a college student or someone who left and misses the familiar streets. A mug works for the parent who stayed, or the grandparent who still checks in on local news. Add a year, a street, or a class to the second line and the shirt becomes specific to their own version of the town.
