About this access director gift
An access director spends the day making sure the right people can get in, whether that's a building, a program, a set of records or a service. That might mean writing the policies, handling the exceptions nobody anticipated, or being the one everyone emails when something doesn't open. It's quiet work, and when it goes well nobody notices, which is exactly why a gift that does notice means something. The best ones are practical and a little funny about the job: a mug for the desk that gets constant visits, a tee for the casual Friday, a hoodie for the chilly server-room or office-corner afternoon. Put their name on it, or swap the second line for their department, their organization's initials or the year they stepped into the role. If you're shopping for a whole office, a matching set in the Team Shop makes a good thank-you at the holidays, at a retirement or when they hit a work anniversary.
